The gardens will be open again in 2019

on the 26th of May from 12-5pm

under the Nation Garden Scheme.

The proceeds will be shared with St Peters Church, Freston.

Finally, the plants are starting to bloom.

The bearded & siberian iris, alliums and lupins

will all be flowering in the purple garden

and many of the spring flowers such as the the rhododendrons

will still be in bloom on Sunday

and of course the hostas will be in leaf

Why not combine a visit to the gardens with either lunch or dinner

at the Freston Boot?

It’s a great gastro-pub, within walking distance of the gardens.

Here’s a link to the website.

Please bring a card as it’s cashless. Booking is essential.

Freston House is a privately-owned residential property set in 20 acres on the Shotley Peninsula south of Ipswich

We are currently looking for a little more help in the garden, ideally someone to work 2 days per week.
